A little of this, a little of that!

So I had a very QUICK class last night. We made this cute tub using our new Decor Elements. They are SO easy to use. Contact me & I can email you the directions.

I then had some time to work on Andi's scrapbook. I felt SO bad that she is 14mo already & I didn't do ANYTHING. So I'm going to show you what I worked on last night. I was quite happy & can't wait until Nov 5th to work on it some more. Will you be there?

Then today I REALLY needed to work on Deb's b-day invitations & well, what do you think?

Some Great Crafttin' Days

Man was I in my glory this week. I was stampin' & craftin' 3 days in a ROW!!! PLUS I have a workshop on Saturday so that's 4, WOO HOO, go me :-)

On Wednesday I had my open scrap night with I think the MOST amount of woman I've had yet, 12. I was so amazed that we all found the space to work. All felt very accomplished at the end of the night. Can't wait to do it again next month!!! sorry I don't have pictures, next time

Thursday was the kid's craft day with 11 in total. The kids really enjoyed themselves & the projects & want to do it again, this time, get this, SCRAPBOOKING!!! startin' em young ;-)

Here they all are with the completed project, aren't they cute!!!

Then today my friend Stef came over. She wanted to stamp SO BAD she sat in over an hours worth of traffic to get here & then sat in WAY longer traffic to get home. Now that's a TRUE stamper ;-)

We decided to get together once a month & make hostess gifts & door prizes & whatever else we feel like. Here are the things we made, some are incomplete. I will finish them up & add at another time.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks entry & until next time, Happy Craftin'

Easy Christmas Projects

Hello Everyone! I can't beleive it's October & I was working on projects for Christmas. It'll be here before we know it. My friend & I decided we are going to do our church's craft fair again this year so I better get crack-a-lackin' anyway.

I have my monthly sideline meeting tomorrow & we had to come up with a project using the Spoghtlight on Christmas stamp set. I looked through my monthly Stampin' Up! magazine & found a cute paperbag project & just changed EVERYTHING but the layout.

You like? I do & it took me all of 10min to cut & put together. Now we all have 10 min right? Get to work & email me your project.

Here is what I used;

Spoghtlight on Christmas stamp set
Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Night of Navy & Natural White Cardstock
Riding Hood Red, Night of Navy & Chocolate Chip Classic Ink
5-Petal Flower Punch, Lg Star Punch, Lg & Wide Oval Punches & Scallop Edge Punch
5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin Dimensionals & sm stapler

*******************************************************
Nanci's workshop was a fun night, not everyone showed up but we all had a GREAT time. They got to use the NEW & AWESOME Bigshot & made the Basket & Blooms project. I think I have a few buyers in the future :-)

When we finally got started after a few door prizes they made 2 Christmas cards using the I Wish Simply Scrappin' Kit (SSK), yes you heard me right cards using the SSK. Stampin' Up! is bound to have products to use for ANYTHING!! I can squeeze out 60-80 cards using one kit & 1 pkg of solid cardstock.
Here are the cards I made.

Thanx for looking. Until next time when I have some time to stamp & play!!!

First Day of School!!

I know I should be doing work but I JUST had to share with you a few pictures of my Debra's 1st day of Pre-School. I just can't beleive how fast that went, she's old enough to go to school, YAY!!! I have to say she was VERY excited to go this morning, partially b/c I've been playing it up. She tends to be just like her mom when it comes to something new a little apprehensive but then watch out she is GUNG HO!!! So I had to make it exciting for her, i think it worked ;-)

So here she is with her GINORMUS backpack, I mean come on why must they make them get such a big one, just to hold a folder, lol
Gotta wear shades!!! It's a sunny morning :-)
Here she is with Uncle Keith, he is just as proud & excited as we are. I know we can count on him to be there for all her firsts, luv ya bro xoxox
Look I found my name, I'm a green apple :-)

Getting ready to leave. What a great day!!!

The process of thank you cards

So you get a nice gift for you or MANY for a child. The right thing to do is send a thank you. Now to come up with a layout, that's MY hardest part. Well luckily today I was reading my Stampin' Success, a magazine with great samples & ideas that we demo's get every month, and came across this cute page in there
I thought "hey i have a similar picture of Andi that I could use" so I printed out my pictures got all my supplies ready & went to work. I had to make about 20 thank you cards from her birthday party. The first thing I did was make my first one, LOVED IT!!! Now to get to work, First I punched out all the pink pirouette scallop circles & riding hood red 1 3/8" circles. Then I stamped thank you using the seeing spots stamp set added a small button & assembeld those
Next I cut my kiwi kiss & baja breeze card stock & used the scallop punch. I adhered those to my kiwi kissThen I cut my whisper white card stock & stamped her name using kiwi kiss starting with the last letter first so I knew how far in I'd have to go. Then I stamped the flowers in baja breeze then added the picture & adhered that to my main page Finally I added my flower using dimensionals & here you go a BEAUTIFUL thank you card that doubles as a photo, I made these 5x7. Whose not gonna want to put this picture out on display, she's just too cute :-)I hope you enjoyed the process as much as I did making them. I have to tell you that these took me only about 2 hrs to complete from start to finish. I had a GREAT helper :-) So you too can make your thank you's, invites or whatever. You just have to MAKE THE TIME!!!
Until next time happy stampin!!
