I've been Missing but I've been in Action

Hello out there, sorry I have been away for months.  One thing about my Stampin' Up! Business is that I can put in as much or as little time as I want.  While I haven't been busy with classes & such, I have been busy creating pages which I'll show you in a bit.

Besides the holidays keeping me busy along with my job, kids, etc. The main reason I've been away is I've become a student again, YIKES!  My job has become part of this Quality Stars Program & they along with Chase Bank awarded grants.  I, along with 3 other co-workers, was picked to go for my eCDA.  This is a credential that will allow me to be a head teacher in a preschool program.  I'm quite excited & overwhelmed all at once.  It's a lot more work than I thought, I had tried about 10 years ago to follow this path but life had other plans for me.  I'm happy that my path has brought me back here.  It's an online course with meeting up with my classmates once a month.  The hardest part about this is putting together a portfolio.  It's a lot of work but will be so worth it in the end!

Now on to some crafts.  Like I said I haven't had my classes but I have been busy scrappin' which is why I became a demonstrator in the first place.  Me & a group of orphaned demonstrators (that means either our direct uplines are no longer active or live far away) we try to meet once a month & share ideas.  I don't have too many to share these days but I LOVE seeing them :-)
When we get together we would make a project & swap cards.  Over the summer we decided to change things up a bit.  We decided to create scrapbook pages, however there's a twist.  Each of us creates 4 of something; the title, the embellishments, the journaling block, the background page & or a border.  We come up with a color combination & theme for our page the night we meet.  Then when we get together the next month & put our page together.  It is so much fun & the out come is a way better page than I would have come up with if I had to create the whole page ;-)
Now I'll share the pages we created. I'm happy to say that I am almost done with my 2010 scrapbook.  But I have Debra's preschool album to finish & I have to start Andi's preschool album, not to mention make our Disney one.  Just when you think u catch up, BAM.
So I will leave you all with my creations.
Thanks for taking the time to stop over & take a look.  Hope to "see" ya'll soon ;-)
If you would like to see all my scrapbook pages you can view them on my facebook page

Page five, this one is my "flip" page.  The title is so pretty & I wanted to use it but with all the other elements it was too much.  So I chose my favorite layout using the flip.  I take so many pictures & feel I need them all :-)

Here is what's underneath the flip
I felt this one had too many elements also & wanted to use them all.  I purchased these portfolio page protectors at a crop i attended.  The middle page wasn't part of the swap I added that.  below you'll see how it is in my book.

here are the other two pages the flap open to the right.
