The process of thank you cards

So you get a nice gift for you or MANY for a child. The right thing to do is send a thank you. Now to come up with a layout, that's MY hardest part. Well luckily today I was reading my Stampin' Success, a magazine with great samples & ideas that we demo's get every month, and came across this cute page in there
I thought "hey i have a similar picture of Andi that I could use" so I printed out my pictures got all my supplies ready & went to work. I had to make about 20 thank you cards from her birthday party. The first thing I did was make my first one, LOVED IT!!! Now to get to work, First I punched out all the pink pirouette scallop circles & riding hood red 1 3/8" circles. Then I stamped thank you using the seeing spots stamp set added a small button & assembeld those
Next I cut my kiwi kiss & baja breeze card stock & used the scallop punch. I adhered those to my kiwi kissThen I cut my whisper white card stock & stamped her name using kiwi kiss starting with the last letter first so I knew how far in I'd have to go. Then I stamped the flowers in baja breeze then added the picture & adhered that to my main page Finally I added my flower using dimensionals & here you go a BEAUTIFUL thank you card that doubles as a photo, I made these 5x7. Whose not gonna want to put this picture out on display, she's just too cute :-)I hope you enjoyed the process as much as I did making them. I have to tell you that these took me only about 2 hrs to complete from start to finish. I had a GREAT helper :-) So you too can make your thank you's, invites or whatever. You just have to MAKE THE TIME!!!
Until next time happy stampin!!

Color Combo Challenge

So I haven't had much work this week so I've been a BUSY little beaver today. I decided to do this weeks color challenge & a project for a group of WONDERFUL ladies all in one (this is just a sample to show them, not the actual one). I didn't adhere the title on b/c I'm not too sure if I like it, do you? Let me know by leaving me a comment.

The color challenge is to use; Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip & Old Olive or Kiwi Kiss. I chose to use Kiwi Kiss one of our new IN COLORS. I used Fantastic Foliage, Whimsical Lower & Convex Square punch. I know they are all retired but that's the only fall set I have b/c it's one of my FAVS. I hope you like. Oh this is the clear envelope brag book.

Check out my fellow demo sisters use for the color challenge: Stasia, Lorraine

Scrapbooking & Some Decor Elements

We had a great night last night for some MUCH needed scrapbooking. I was able to do 3 two page spreads. I couldn't think about the journaling or titles too much b/c I would just have gotten one done. So I opted to do that later on & keep going.

Here are some pictures of us working and the pages I got done.

What a great night!

So I just spent my evening doing what I LOVE and being with some of my greatest friends.
I had my New Catalog open house tonight & we made these 3 projects.
We had such a great time tonight & the best part, aside from being in their compnay, were the DOOR PRIZES, everyone left here with something, how fun! I'm pretty sure they were all pleased to get something.
The scrapbook page (8 1/2 x 8 1/2) & note card box I made at convention. I then bumped it up to make a 12x12 page spread.
The pictures on the page are from convention, we are actually making the page. These were the gals I spent my time in Utah with. Me, Stephanie, Kelly, Patti (in back), Kelly & her cuteset ever gram, Grace.

I hope you enjoy reading & seeing what they made. Until next time when I post some stuff from my trip to Utah.

Welcome

Hello & welcome to my blog. I decided to take the plunge & just go for it. I'm hoping this can be a place you visit often to chat, see great projects & just keep up with ME :-)

I hope I can keep up with it & for now I'm going to commit to posting once a week. If I happen to have some free time, yeah right, I'll do it more often.

So enjoy
xoxo
