12 Days of Christmas ~ Day 5, 6 & 7

Hello out there ~ so I've been trying to dedicate my weekends to my family so that's why I didn't post any updates this weekend. BUT it's going to make these 12 days specials hard to get to you before Christmas is here.
Today I am sharing 3 projects with you & will share 2 a day for the next week. I think that will get it all in before next week. I can't believe Christmas is NEXT week. Day 5 ~ Gift Tins
These tins can be picked up at Michael's & make a cute gift for a teacher or coach or even to add in a basket for a hostess gift.


Here is the supply list and some tips:
Use any DSP --cut 1"x3" and wrap 12 Hershey nuggets.
Use Top Note w/Big Shot.
Use Gel Pen to hi-lite perforated areas on Top Note.
Use Snowflake die w/ white paper
Punch hole in center and add decorative brad
Punch one hole in each end of Top Note and thread ribbon through--tie knot and use as belly band for closure.

Here is another way to use this for someone who doesn't like sweets. a cute little gift card holder.

Here are a few tips:
Use Scallop Envelope die w/ Big Shot -cut 8 env.(Maine Blueberry DSP was used here)
Cut 8 note cards w/ Whisper White CS
Cut Certainly Celery Belly Bad
Cut DSP belly band w/DSP
Cut out one flower and center
Layer the center on top of flower and add colored brad

Day 6 ~ Gift Card holders
You know there are a few people on your list this year who you get gift cards for so why not make a cute holder for them. It adds that "special" touch so they know you put thought into their gift even though it's just a gift card. What's great is you can make them year round for birthday's & other occasions.

Day 7 ~ Stationary Ensemble
This ensemble includes 3 cards, a post-it holder and a coordinating pen and how cute it all comes in a matching "purse". What lady doesn't love a purse?!?!
If you don't want to make the post-it note holder & pen you could just make a bunch of cards & envelopes too.

Here are the supplies used to make this project:
1 - 81/2 x 11" piece of paper scored @ 4 1/2" and 1 1/4" (coordinate it to the DSP you are using) Baja Breeze and Green Tea Designer Series Paper were used.
Designer Series paper-cut to (2) 3 x 4 1/2" for the accent piece on front and back of the purse
RSVPentel Pen - You will need a pen that you can insert a piece of paper into so that it coordinates with your "purse" (3 1/2" x 7/8")
Card stock and Designer series paper for the cards
A piece of card stock cut to 3 1/2" x 7 1/2" that is scored @ 3 1/2" and 4" for the post it note holder
Coordinating stamp set for cards and post it note holder
Sticky strip, brads, punches (scalloped circle and scalloped edge) and ribbon for accents
